Lesser Bushbaby
The tiny cuddly-looking lesser bushbaby has a woolly, grey-brown coat, long fluffy tail, thin rounded ears, huge eyes and a short snout. It inhabits well-wooded areas where it — being completely nocturnal— constructs a nest of leaves to sleep in during the day, or else lies in dense creepers. It feeds on gums and resins of tress particularly Acacias, fuit, berries, birds' eggs and insects. Agile and surefooted, it jumps considerable distances from branch to branch and tree to tree.
