Persian cat

Many people regard the Persian as the aristocrat of domestic cats. This long-haired breed has a sturdy bone structure and a chunky, massive appearance. They have short, thick legs with large paws and a relativley short, fluffy tail. The head is round and broad on a short neck, with small, round ears and a broad, flat nose. Their eyes are big and round and in white Perians can be deep blue or orange. Odd-eyed Persians occur, havine one orange and one blue eye. Blue-eyed whites may very often be deaf. Persians are recognised in a wide variety of colours. The Persian's luxuriant coat is long, soft and silky and must be brushed regularly to prevent mattting. Persians love attention and are very playful.
